How it works

A tap at the counter. That's the whole thing.

STASHD puts a small NFC puck on your counter. Customers tap it with their phone and their loyalty card opens in the browser. There's no app to download, no password to remember and no paper card to lose.

For your customers

Built so a busy morning queue keeps moving. Most taps take a second or two.

  • 1. Tap the puck

At the counter, your customer holds their phone near the STASHD puck. Nearly every modern iPhone and Android can do this.

  • 2. Their card opens

A link opens in the phone's web browser with their loyalty card for your venue. Nothing to download and nothing to install.

  • 3. A quick hello, once

The very first time, they add their mobile number and a text code, so their card is saved to them. After that, it's just a tap.

  • 4. Earn and enjoy

Each visit adds a stamp or points. When a reward is ready, they show the card to your staff and it is marked as used.

Is there a STASHD app?

Yes, and it is completely optional. Everything a customer needs works in the browser straight from a tap: collecting stamps, earning points, opening packs and claiming rewards.

Some regulars like having all their cards in one place and a nudge when a reward is ready, so the STASHD app is there for iPhone and Android. Venue owners and managers can also run their loyalty from it. Nobody ever has to download it to take part.

STASHD is not an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass. The card lives on the web, which is why it works the same on every phone.

For your venue

Up and running in about a week, most of which is the post.

Start your free trial online with your mobile. Choose your colours, your rewards and how you want loyalty to work.

  • We post your starter kit

Two NFC pucks and two counter signs arrive at your venue, anywhere in Australia. Peel, place, done.

  • Connect your till, if you like

On Square or Shopify? Connect it and every sale earns points for each dollar spent. Not on either? The puck works on its own.

  • Watch your regulars come back

See visits, rewards and your best customers in your dashboard, and send a friendly SMS or push note when you want to.

Choose how loyalty works

Every plan includes all of these. Start with a simple stamp card and add more whenever you like.

  • Stamp cards

The classic, made easy. One tap per visit, and a free coffee (or whatever you like) when the card is full.

  • Points for every dollar

Connect Square or Shopify and every sale earns points on what was spent. You choose how many points each dollar is worth.

  • Rewards at the Square till

With Square's Silent Mode, rewards come off at your till, much like Square Loyalty. Customers don't need to tap or open anything.

  • A points shop

Customers spend their points on treats you choose, from a pastry to a bag of beans.

  • Mystery packs

A little surprise with a visit: collectable cards designed for your venue, plus bonus points. Turn it on whenever you like.

  • Prepaid packs

Sell ten coffees up front, in store or online, and let regulars redeem one with each tap.

Questions people ask

Do customers need to download an app?

No. STASHD works in the phone's web browser: customers tap the puck on your counter and their card opens. The first time, they pop in their mobile number and a quick text code, and that's it. No app, no password. There is an optional STASHD app for iPhone and Android, for regulars who'd like all their cards in one place, but nobody needs it to earn or redeem a reward.

Is STASHD an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet card?

No. STASHD isn't an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass. The card lives on the web, so it works the same on any iPhone or Android and there's nothing to add or install.

Which phones work with STASHD?

Nearly every modern iPhone and Android phone can tap an NFC puck. The card opens in the phone's usual web browser.

What if a customer's phone can't tap?

On Square or Shopify, your staff can add the customer to the sale by their mobile number, and the sale still earns points. With Square Silent Mode, customers never need to tap at all.

Do staff need to learn anything new?

Very little. With the puck, customers do the tapping. When a reward is shown, staff give the treat and it is marked as used. On Square, staff simply add the customer to the sale as they already do.
